Lincoln Park has an entity known as the Police Athletic League (PAL). It's been in existence for an incredibly long time, and offers baseball/softball, basketball, cheerleading, football and soccer to the youth of LP. All volunteers for coaches, board members, etc. And those that do these things usually go above and beyond in every way. So we would like to thank them for everything they do.
In the last couple of years, the Tri-Town Little League has been attempting to poach the kids of LP. In their won words, "they don't want every kid, just the 11 and 12 year olds". Nice. They like to say they do things for the kids, but let me ask you, who in their right mind thinks 11 and 12 year olds throwing curveballs is acceptable. Little League does, that's who.
